Florida Panthers Announce 2024 Stanley Cup Playoff Schedule
Panthers to Face Tampa Bay Lightning in Eastern Conference First Round
The official National Hockey League website has released the schedule for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Florida Panthers will play the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference First Round.
The Panthers are coming off a season in which they won the Eastern Conference championship. They will be looking to make a run at the Stanley Cup this year.
The Lightning are a perennial contender in the Eastern Conference. They have won the Stanley Cup twice in the past three years.
The two teams are familiar with each other. They met in the Eastern Conference Final last year. The Lightning won the series in six games.
The Panthers will host the first two games of the series at FLA Live Arena. The Lightning will host the next three games at Amalie Arena. If necessary, the series will return to FLA Live Arena for Game 6 and Game 7.
